Cassman Cemetery was identified on TopoZone.com web site as located off Smith Springs Road, near Percy Priest Lake.

Cemetery surveyors visited the Cassman Cemetery site on December 28, 2002. According to the Operations Manager met on the day of their visit, a few years ago, the graveyard area was saved from bulldozers who were cutting a road through the grounds. An inspection of the site found many sunken graves throughout a large open area.
